Two days in Lobo
A plan built around the road, not around a brochure. Two days and one night is the right length for Lobo.
Two days is enough for Lobo. Day one: arrive from Batangas City, settle on the coast, visit Malabrigo Point Lighthouse in the afternoon light and snorkel off the sanctuary. Day two: the Olo-Olo mangrove boardwalk in the morning, the Jaybanga rice terraces, then the poblacion before driving out. Timings below are indicative; the road is the variable.

- How many days do you need in Lobo, Batangas?
- Two days and one night. Day one is the coast and the lighthouse, day two is the mangrove, the rice terraces and the poblacion before driving out. A single day trip from Manila is not realistic given the road.
- Can you do Lobo as a day trip from Manila?
- Not comfortably. Manila to Batangas City is roughly two hours by expressway, and Batangas City to Lobo is a further slow hour or more on a mountain road with ongoing construction. Stay one night.
- Do you need a car in Lobo?
- It helps considerably. Public transport reaches the poblacion, but the lighthouse, the mangrove and the rice terraces are spread across barangays with infrequent jeepney and tricycle service. Habal-habal is the local fallback.
