Mount Tilos
Forty-one ascents in sixteen years, one blog post, and the only place in Lobo where the ridge and the reef are visible in a single view.
Mount Tilos rises directly above the Malabrigo coastline and is the least climbed peak in Lobo, with 41 recorded ascents between 1999 and 2015 and no climbers at all before 2001. It is trailed directly from the coast at Soloc and Malabrigo, and forms a continuation of the Mt. Lobo–Naguiling complex.
Tilos is the one that almost nobody climbs. Forty-one ascents in sixteen years, first climbed in 2001 through Soloc, and covered by a single blog post against Banoy's twenty-eight. Its interest is positional: it stands where the range meets the sea, directly above the lighthouse coast, which makes it the one peak in Lobo where the ridge-to-reef geography is visible in a single view. It is described in the literature as part of the southwest corridor of the Lobo–San Juan Mountain Range.
